The community of Coventry replaced aging play equipment and infrastructure with a Custom Outdoor Parkour Park designed by The TULA Project and a local parkour expert.

The built outcome provides users with a variety of jump, balance, swing, climb, and vault opportunities by integrating different materials, heights, angles, and distances between each element. This variety inspires creativity in how each user will interpret and use the space; allowing users to explore and create different pathways of movement to functionally link elements.

The parkour facility has been purpose built to encourage use and movement exploration for a wide range of ages, and abilities. Elements are introduced within the park space to provide a range of beginner movements to advanced movements. As users navigate the park, opportunities are offered to try new movements encouraging users to continuously assess, improve and challenge their comfortability, skill level, and risk tolerance.
